Trove Grove is a small marketplace for things people make and find. We read every application, set your first gem up with you, and pay for the AI that writes your listing.
A$12.00 for a year per product, paid once. 5% of the item price when it sells, and never any of the postage.
A gem, a trove and a grove
You'll see these three words all over Trove Grove. Each one is a different size of the same idea.
A gem is one product with a page of its own
Its photos, its sizes and colours, its postage and its own checkout, on a Trove Grove address or on a domain you already own and point at it. Sell as many of it as you can make.
A trove is several gems in one shopfront
Your name, logo and colours across the top, one basket for different gems, and your own domain pointed at it if you have one. It's where a seller goes once the colours of one thing have turned into different things.
A grove is a place
Buyers open a grove to see what people nearby are selling. The groves so far are Burleigh Heads, Coolangatta, Currumbin, Miami, and Palm Beach.
What comes with a gem
Everything below is on the page the day it opens. Nothing is an add-on.
A checkout that suits it
Buyers order through a short conversation that asks what they want, or through an ordinary basket. You choose which.
Listings written for you
Add your photos and the AI drafts the title and description. 10 AI writes come with a gem and 100 with a trove, and the AI runs on our account.
Postage you set once
Save a price for each place you post to, and every gem that hasn't named its own uses it.
Point your own domain at it
We don't sell domains. If you already own one, point it at your gem or your trove and it serves your page. Stuart's gem lives at shop.ko-lostomy.co.uk.
Your currency, your Stripe
Price it in the currency your buyers use. The money goes into your own Stripe account, and Stripe pays you out on your own schedule.
Readable by Google
Each gem publishes its price and postage in the markup Google reads for products, and its returns too once you've stated them.
Printed when it sells
A T-shirt or print can send its own order to Printful once a buyer pays, so there's no stock to hold.
Your name on it
Discount codes for a launch or a regular, and a switch that takes our credit out of your footer.
How we work with sellers
Trove Grove is kept small on purpose. That's what lets a person look after each seller rather than a help page.

Tell us what you sell and where we can see it. A person reads it and emails you back, whichever way it goes.

We set it up with you
Photos, choices, postage, Stripe and your domain. Stuart makes a night protector for ostomy bags in England, and his gem went live on his own domain, priced in pounds.

Pay A$12.00 for the year and the page goes public. Send your customers to it.

Every figure here is in Australian dollars. You pay for a year up front, and nothing renews unless you renew it.

What comes out of a sale
Our share is taken from the item price only. Sell something for A$48.00 with A$12.00 postage on a gem, and we take A$2.40.
Stripe takes its own card fee from your Stripe balance, at Stripe's rate. None of it comes to us, and it shows in your Stripe dashboard.
Questions sellers ask
Do I need a website?
No. A gem has its own address on Trove Grove from the day it opens.
Is a domain name included?
No, we don't sell or register domains. If you already own one, or buy one from a registrar, you can point it at your gem or your trove and we'll help you connect it.
Can I sell from outside Australia?
Yes. Stuart sells from England and prices his gem in pounds. You'll need a Stripe account in your own country.
Do you hold my money?
No. Buyers pay into your own Stripe account, and our share is taken at the moment of the sale.
What happens when my year is up?
The gem goes out of sight. Renew it and it comes back with its photos, its choices and its orders where you left them.
Is there a limit on how big I can get?
Yes, and it's on purpose. The largest trove holds 20 gems, because Trove Grove is built for small sellers. If you're running a warehouse, we'd rather say so now.
